Mission Statement

The kaupapa (purpose) of the Kia Ora DC Kiwis roopu (group) is to:

    1. a. Educate the public about New Zealand culture, customs, traditions, and value system

b. Connect with:

      1. i. Kiwi-born, American-born Kiwis, and people who love and support Kiwis

ii. Help establish/tautoko (support) other Kiwi groups

iii. Promote a promote a cultural exchange with organizations serving similar minority populations, as determined by the board of directors

iv. Develop scholarships and educational support for minority individuals that support the cultural learning of minority populations culture and customs.
